Rick Berenschot, operating under the name rickTrack, is an experienced music maker who started his career as a composer and songwriter in the 80s.
In addition to composing music for visual media, Rick also wrote pieces for brass band and choir a-capella.
Eventually Rick decided to release his music independently, which resulted in four CDs that found their way onto the shelves of various Amsterdam music stores.
Despite his passion, Rick decided in 2009 to put his musical ambitions aside to focus on his regular job. However, the rise of digital music distribution inspired him in 2018 to continue his musical journey, which resulted in the album "Time Slips Away".
In 2022, he released the compilation album "Before They Wilt Away", with a selection of his earlier work.
A new album with brand new compositions, entitled "My Own Man", has been released in February 2025.
